Statistical Inference for network models
Resumo:
In this talk we will discuss some problems related to random networks. We will introduce a network model called Stochastic Block Model (SBM) and we will discuss some inferential methods used in the literature to cluster the nodes of the network in groups. Moreover, we will discuss some penalized methods used to infer the number of clusters in the network.
